Crabs in coconut milk

The husband bought couple of crabs yesterday. I didn’t know that. He does the marketing every weekend (usually on a Sunday) and I always told him to buy fish and some meat only. But I was surprised to see some crabs and shrimps… :D …Well, we indulged ourselves into this food from time to time and it was the two of us who will eat, LOL! (Migs don’t like it.. ) Anyway, he’s the man on the kitchen last night. He cooked that crabs. He just asked me to buy squash and coconut milk… :)

Ingredients:
large crabs
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger, finely diced
1 tsp oil
butternut squash, peeled and cubed
2/3 cup coconut milk
1 hot chili pepper (if you want a bit of spice)
salt and pepper to taste

Steam crabs until cooked. Set aside and let cool.
In a skillet, over medium heat, saute garlic and ginger in oil until lightly browned. Add coconut milk, squash, hot chili pepper (if using) salt and peper to taste. Let boil, then add crab and simmer for 5-7 minutes. Serve immediately with rice.

We’re both full last night. :D By the way, we didn’t finish all the crabs. So we’ll have another round of this tonight, LOL!
