#1. Clair’s question. What’s the biggest kitchen blunder you’ve made?

#2. What’s your favorite snow day beverage?
~ hot coffee or hot chocolate
#3. What’s your favorite way to eat celery?
~ mix with soup
#4. What’s the most most unappealing looking food you can think of?

“Migs” cookies

Published by admin under Kids, Moms Diary, cookies

Last week, my son requested for some cookies. It’s been a while since I bake cookies for him so I gave in to his requests… Towards the end, he said why not form letter M for his name. And since I have few batter left I formed his nickname and it goes like this:

Migs cookies
He was happy to see that, LOL!

And after few minutes in the oven… here’s the cookies :)

Monday side story

Published by admin under net surfing

I was reading the tutorial of how to make a cupcake tower then list down the things needed. I know I can look for a board but I’m not sure if I can find a round box set… No there’s no party coming but I just want to practice doing it for future use, hehe… Anyway, while browsing from one site to the other searching for boards, I stumbled skaetboard ramps and boards use by those cyclists. I thought of a cake with the same theme but I can’t remember where I’ve seen one. It’s pretty interesting. I hope I can enroll soon for baking class… I really wanted to push through with my baking business… hehe… :)

Technology trend

Published by admin under net surfing

Looking for recipes? You can search online…
Looking for cake design tutorial? You can search online….
Want to know how to make a cupcake tower? You can search online… etc.. etc…
In other words, most of the things that we needed, we can search it online… See the technology trend…
In the past, we have to go to the bookstore and check some books or recipe books for our cooking. For restaurant reservation, we have to call the customer service. But with the technology advancements, we can all this things online. And pretty surprising even insurance quotes, we can obtain comparable insurance online from multiple competing companies. And from there, you can compare cheap insurance coverage that will fit your budget… No need to check from one site to the other.

It’s amazing how the technology evolves and made me think what’s in store on the next generation… :)

Cure for Ailments

Published by admin under Healthy living

Having cold, fever and other illnesses is not good at all especially with the kids. I’m always on paranoid situation whenever my son gets sick like couple of weeks ago he kept on vomiting and complaining that his stomach was painful. Then later on his fever was on and off that made me so worried especially that there’s swine flu scare in the country. Well, right now he’s fully recovered and we’re happy he’s back to his normal eating habit. I’ve mentioned this because as mother I believe knowing what’s best Cures for Ailments is important. A sort of first aid that we can administer at home; however that doesn’t mean we’re not going to consult the doctor. Remember that self-medication doesn’t work all the times. So if you’re having symptoms with any ailments, just make sure you have a medicine or cure at home as your first aid and if gets worst consulting your doctor is the safest way.

In addition: Protect yourself from ailments and consult The Amen Clinics, your shelter house for good health. Also, more information on the Amen Clinics can be found here.
