baking with a lil boy
Last night though late I still managed to bake Almond Chews slice. I was thinking that this slice would be our goody treat for parents on my son’s birthday soon. Usually I bake when I’m alone as it’s easy to move but last night I have the little boy at my side that wanted to share his help like holding the mixer. 
If only we have a bigger kitchen with Kitchen Island (thinking of my dream kitchen here with an addition of a cedar exterior shutters on my kitchen window) it could have been easy for the two of us and I can let him join me. But I’m afraid he might fall down from where he was standing and everything will be mess up, hehehe… however just to give in with his request, I let him hold the mixer towards the last mix of the batter. 
… Well, the slice baked really great and though not totally cool, we ate already half of it…
