I was checking my old cooking journal and saw Fried Spare Ribs recipe. I have made this before but I cannot find the picture I took for this. Anyway, I am planning to do it again. So I’m going to staple the recipe here for easy reference. I will share the photo later as I will include it on my meal plan for next week.

I remember I got the recipe for this on a newspaper clip that was left in our old house at Hung Hom. Not bad to try and it was great! :)

Ok without further ado, here’s the recipe:

Ingredients:
1 lb. Spare ribs
1 tbsp butter
1/2 lemon

Seasoning 1:
1 tbsp light soy sauce
pinch of pepper

Seasoning 2:
1/4 tsp salt
1 & 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tbsp sugar

Procedure:
1. Wash the spare ribs. Chop into 1 inch length.Mix it with seasong1.
Parboil into hot oil. Take out until it turns golden. Wait for use.
2. Mash the lemon peel. Squeeze out the juice and wait for use.
3. Heat the butter and add lemon peel. Then put seasoning 2 and stir fry.
4. Add spare ribs and stir until all the spare ribs coated with the sauce.
5. Dish up.

Hmmmm…. Just yummy! Try it… have fun cooking!
