PostHeaderIcon Surf, surf, surf

As soon as my son woke up this morning, I was thinking what food to prepare for our lunch. Yesterday we went out and we had our lunch at Jollibee as he was asking to eat spaghetti from that food chain. But today I have lots of things to finish at home and since we have food on the fridge, I just have to think what to cook… Well, browsing on the net makes it easy so I spend few minutes to check for recipe that might help me… surf, surf surf….. And yes I got one! :) After printing it and taking out the ingredients, I went back to my pc and surf, surf, surf some more… (that makes me relax actually, a little break from my house work) …. I stay for few minutes and was interested to check about this airsoft rifle. Just curious about it. Not that I want to own one but checking on different styles and levels and this is my first time to visit the site. Makes me think of the different pistols and guns used on the movies… And what’s more interesting was that they have almost all airsoft gear from spring pistols to high end AEG’s even rechargeable batteries and safety glasses. Exciting stuff as I may so and I think the husband would love to check this. I have of course to bookmark the site. :) … well I just have to end my browser after that otherwise I’ll be sticked there forever… hehe…

PostHeaderIcon Thai Soup

We had dinner yesterday at Times Square… While Migs and I had our usual Gyoza, the husband had this Thai Soup, which I forgot the exact name, hehe… It's spicy so I didn’t try anymore as I’m not fond of spicy food.

They also have the fried mussels, which looks delish but didn’t order. Maybe next time we’ll try it…

Thanks for looking! Happy Monday…

PostHeaderIcon Monday surfing

From cooking ware to baking pans to clothes and bags to gadgets, hehe…
After doing couple of household work, I took a little rest, sit in front of pc and do net browsing…. and for me a better way to relax is some window shopping drooling on various items that I wanted to buy, hehe…

I mentioned baking pans because I’ve been itching to buy non-stick 24 cup mini muffin pan. Unfortunately I cannot find it at the store where I usually buy my baking wares but I found it online, hehe… For gadgets, I was looking on the new camera and some gps systems. I remember a friend needed the gps and found the site with hot deals for that. See not bad for browsing this time as I can help later on, hehehe…. Right now I stop on some clothes and bags. I’m sure I’ll be hooked there forever if I’m not going to close that browser, hehe… So I’ll be heading on my kitchen first before I glued myself here in front of pc… checking in later… Ciao!

PostHeaderIcon the BBQ Grill

I found a recipe but the cooking process should be grilled. Unfortunately we don’t have that cookware anymore. I remember I’ve asked the husband before to buy an indoor BBQ grill that look like this:
Indoor BBQ Grill
I found that at buy.com while I was checking on their video cards. I know that this site has a lot of items so I checked the kitchenware as well and found that BBQ grill. I have to save it to show to the husband what kind of grill I’m talking about, hehe. Though I know he knows what I meant, I should be ready with a picture…

Food Friday

I’ve posted the recipe of this last year but it’s just the other night that I was able to cook it again… Well, I’m not sure if the photo was taken clearly but I just love the smell and the taste of this food. :)

Fun, Crafts and Recipes

#1. Clair’s question. What’s the biggest kitchen blunder you’ve made?
~ the latest carrot cake I baked. It turned out not really good for me though it can be eaten. As soon as I have the grated carrots, I didn’t use it at once. Put it on ref and when the time to use, I should have thaw it properly…. :(
#2. What’s your favorite snow day beverage?
~ hot coffee or hot chocolate
#3. What’s your favorite way to eat celery?
~ mix with soup
#4. What’s the most most unappealing looking food you can think of?
~ super oily food

PostHeaderIcon “Migs” cookies

Last week, my son requested for some cookies. It’s been a while since I bake cookies for him so I gave in to his requests… Towards the end, he said why not form letter M for his name. And since I have few batter left I formed his nickname and it goes like this:

Migs cookies
He was happy to see that, LOL!

And after few minutes in the oven… here’s the cookies :)

… hehe.

He enjoyed our baking time and definitely will do it again… :)

PostHeaderIcon Monday side story

I was reading the tutorial of how to make a cupcake tower then list down the things needed. I know I can look for a board but I’m not sure if I can find a round box set… No there’s no party coming but I just want to practice doing it for future use, hehe… Anyway, while browsing from one site to the other searching for boards, I stumbled skaetboard ramps and boards use by those cyclists. I thought of a cake with the same theme but I can’t remember where I’ve seen one. It’s pretty interesting. I hope I can enroll soon for baking class… I really wanted to push through with my baking business… hehe… :)
