How to eat out without freaking out
I extracted the following from an old small magazine I have. The complete lists were intended for people in HongKong, so I just pulled out few tips that I believe can also be advised to everybody…
1. Go to places where the staff’s outfits and hands look tidy and clean, and preferably wear clean gloves when handling read-to-eat food.
2. Bear in mind that all ready-to-eat food, raw or cooked, should be covered.
3. If you suspect the cooked seafood is being kept under room temperature for more than two hours, it could be the breeding site for various bacteria. Seafood should be served immediately once being thoroughly cooked, or be kept inside warmer (above 60degrees Celsius).
4. If raw and cooked food are not kept separately, in particular at food shops selling cooked food and snacks, walk away and never look back.
5. Relax.
These are just few guidelines… remember: “You are what you eat” so make sure the food you’re putting into your mouth is clean… less hassle and less disability… (reminds me to read information about the disability insurance that provides healthcare related services… ) .. More stuff later on… Ciao!
